As a frequent attendee and fan of the Bridge Command immersive theatre experience, I've produced a few pieces of fan art. This painting depicts the UCS Warspite, the fictional flagship to which attendees teleport, upon which they are briefed and deployed to one of two smaller ships (or where one can buy a pre/post mission drink in the on-ship bar: 'The Mess'.
Besides using the in-game images and models of the ships exterior (You can only see this ship when out on a mission, after all!), this piece also draws on other classic sci-fi artwork. The exact space background that the ship occupies is in fact a reference/very heavy nod to the background of a painting of the USS Enterprise D, seen frequently in Captain Picards' ready room!
I was delighted when the staff of Bridge Command accepted my offer of a (digital) copy of this piece. While the original hangs happily above my desk at home, one can see a very large print of this, in the bar itself on the Warspite!
