This piece was a perfect fit for this unusual canvas - most of my plywood canvases were simply offcuts from the job I was in at the time! Fortunately I had this image in mind and it suited perfectly. I enjoyed playing with the balance of light and dark on this one - the Dreamer is the only really clear object, and the bed he's in fades and disappears as one moves away from him. What is he dreaming about, I wonder.
